Welcome to Three New ENC Trustees 

Enterprise North Canterbury is delighted to announce the appointment of three new Trustees to our Board: Penny Abell, Bill Lee and Andrew Gilchrist. Their skills, leadership and deep ties to our region will be a tremendous asset as ENC continues to support and grow economic opportunities across North Canterbury.

Introducing Our New Trustees

Penny Abell brings a wealth of business leadership experience. Having joined Misco Joinery more than 17 years ago and now leading the Misco Group, Penny has played a pivotal role in the company’s growth and its strong connection with the local business community. Her strategic insight and passion for regional development make her a great fit for the ENC Board.

Bill Lee has extensive experience across agriculture, engineering, electrical and software industries  – from farming a large sheep and beef operation to advising and investing in start‑ups. Bill’s broad commercial knowledge and experience in regional development roles will help shape ENC’s strategic direction.

Andrew Gilchrist co‑founded Gilchrist Brothers Ltd (GBL), a North Canterbury agri‑services company deeply embedded in the regional economy. His hands‑on leadership and commitment to practical business solutions underscore his enthusiasm for supporting local economic growth.

We’re excited to welcome Penny, Bill and Andrew to the table. Their diverse backgrounds will bring fresh perspectives to the Board and strengthen our ability to support businesses and communities across our region.

At the same time, we extend our heartfelt thanks to Mike Weight for his dedicated service as a Trustee of the ENC Board. Mike has been an avid supporter of ENC and local business development during his time with us.
