Stephanie McDonald is a familiar and much-loved figure in North Canterbury. As the Station Manager of Compass FM, our local radio station, Stephanie has been a trusted voice on the airwaves since the 1990s, beginning her broadcasting journey at C93FM.
Her presence extends far beyond the studio. Stephanie is a sought-after MC for many community events, including the North Canterbury Wearable Arts, the Big Splash, our local Santa Parades and a wide range of local productions. Wherever there's a need for someone vibrant, engaging, and full of heart, Stephanie is there to bring the energy and keep things moving.
A proud mum to four incredible children, Stephanie is also a talented photographer and artist. She joined Compass FM in 2012, learning from some of the best in the industry, and in 2025 stepped into the role of Station Manager. She is excited to lead Compass FM into its next chapter while continuing to support and connect North Canterbury.
