Networking for New North Canterbury Businesses

ENC is inviting those who have started a business in the North Canterbury region within the past six months to come and meet other new business owners, members of the ENC team and learn about business support options, available subsidies and networking opportunities.
“Traditionally, ENC has welcomed new businesses to the region on our Facebook page and touched base with them via email or phone,” explains ENC Chief Executive Heather Warwick. “We really want to step this welcome up by meeting new business owners face-to-face, introducing them to other new business operators and giving them a good overview of what ENC does and how we can help them.”
The first New Business Networking Event is to take place on August 17th from 5.30pm-7pm at the ENC Business Centre in Kaiapoi. The event includes a drink, nibbles, a round of introductions from those in attendance, and lots of information on business support opportunities.
“With the support of our sponsors, ENC will run a New Business Networking Event each quarter at the ENC Business Centre,” explains Heather. “We are really excited to introduce this initiative for the newest members of the North Canterbury business community, and we encourage people to register via our website, tell others that may be interested, and come along on the evening.”
