The Waimakariri Event Fund is a contestable fund that is provided by the Waimakariri District Council, managed by Enterprise North Canterbury and administered by Visit Waimakariri.
Funding rounds open annually:
1st – 31st March
1st – 31st August
Funds available: Between $500 and $5,000
Purpose: Funding is allocated to support events that clearly demonstrate economic and/or community benefit to the Waimakariri District. The fund will provide up to 50% ONLY of the total expenditure for Event Coordination and/or Event Promotion.
